mrs myers if you're nasty

what is with the people who don't know proper "title" etiquette??? why is everyone calling me, "ms" (mizz) myers??? don't they know it's "mrs" (mizzus) now? MRS! how do you NOT know that? how was that not learned? seriously.

and on that note, is it rude to correct them? cuz i have been.

No way is it rude to correct them. You are proud to be a Mrs. and have every right to that title. Congratulations! I heard all about the wedding from txngyrrl. Sounds like a great time was had by all!

Actually, it's appropriate to be called Ms. (mizz thang)

In our dynamic marital society, Ms. is usually a form to designate either an adult single woman, or a woman who's been formerly married, but now single.

Per Merriam Webster, it can be used when the marital status is unknown or irrelevant.

But since I disagree with the "irrelevant" part of that, you have EVERY RIGHT to correct them and be called what you want to be called!

Stand up for your right to be a woman, and down with the liberals and feminists!
